Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay & Pinecrest
In-Home ABA Therapy in Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay & Pinecrest
South Dade families sit right between the city and the Keys, and the commute shows it. Instead of adding another drive up US-1, our bilingual therapists come to your home, your child's school, or a familiar spot in the neighborhood, and they leave you with steps you can use the same evening.

Scheduling around South Dade life
Many parents here work north in the city or south toward the Keys. We set visits for when your family is home, often after school, and keep them on the same days each week so your child knows what to expect.
Home, school, and the outdoors
Home is usually where we start, working on the routines that are hardest right now. With a school's coordination, sessions can extend into the school day. Community sessions might be a trip to a local park or a store, practicing the patience and communication that outings require.
Parent training is built into every plan, so the person who is with your child most of the week knows exactly what to do between visits.
Lakes by the Bay, Saga Bay, and the Franjo corridor
South of the Palmetto Bay village limits, our visits continue into Lakes by the Bay and Saga Bay, two communities of family homes built around small lakes, and into the Franjo Road area where older ranch houses sit on wider lots.
Pinecrest's larger lots and longer driveways mean therapists sometimes park farther from the door than in denser neighborhoods, so we ask about gate codes and driveway access when we schedule the first visit.
Richmond Heights and South Miami Heights sit a little closer to US-1 and have a more mixed set of rentals and owned homes, and families there tell us they value knowing the same therapist will show up rather than a different face each visit, which is something we build the schedule around on purpose.
What a home visit focuses on here
Because so many homes in this part of South Dade back up to canals, lakes, or open yards, water safety routines like staying an arm's length from the edge or asking before going outside are often part of the plan, alongside communication and daily living goals.
Families who split weeks between a parent in Palmetto Bay and another in Cutler Bay can keep both homes on the same plan, with the therapist bringing the same materials and the same approach to each address.
Evening light lasts longer here with fewer tall buildings blocking the sky, and some families prefer to use that extra daylight for a short walk around the block as part of the session, working on noticing cars, staying on the sidewalk, and greeting neighbors along the way.
Coordinating with Miami-Dade County Public Schools
Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, and Pinecrest are served by a mix of schools within Miami-Dade County Public Schools as well as nearby charter schools. When a school agrees to coordinate, a therapist can join your child for part of the school day, working on the same social and behavioral goals practiced at home in a classroom setting.
We keep you updated after any school visit so you always know what was covered, and the plan stays something you can see, not something that happens behind closed doors.

Do you come to homes in Cutler Bay and Palmetto Bay?
Yes. Therapists come to your home, your child's school when the school coordinates it, or a community setting in Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, and Pinecrest.
Is parent training included?
Yes. Parent and caregiver training is part of every ABA plan, in English or Spanish.
Does Florida Medicaid cover this?
Florida Medicaid covers ABA for children under 21 when it is medically necessary, after an evaluation and a prior authorization. Our Florida Medicaid and ABA guide covers the details.
How do we get started?
Call 786-238-5931. We will ask where you are in the process, tell you what is still needed, and explain what realistically happens next.
Do you visit Saga Bay and Lakes by the Bay?
Yes. Both communities are part of our regular South Dade coverage, along with Franjo Road and the surrounding streets.
Do you work on water safety during sessions?
When it fits your child's goals and your home backs up to a canal or lake, yes, we can include basic water-area safety routines as part of the plan.
Can two homes in different towns share the same plan?
Yes. If your family splits time between households in Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, or Pinecrest, we keep the plan and materials consistent across both addresses.
Can sessions move between our Cutler Bay home and a grandparent's house in Palmetto Bay?
Often, yes. Many families split the week between two homes along Old Cutler Road or US-1. Tell us both addresses on the first call so the treatment plan and the schedule can reflect where your child actually spends each afternoon, and so both caregivers can join parent training.
