Mobile ABA across Broward
We do not ask families to come to us. Sessions happen in the settings where your child needs the skills most, and we coordinate with the school when it agrees to have the therapist on campus.
Planning around I-95 and I-595
Traffic where I-95 meets I-595 can be unpredictable. We group visits by area and confirm times ahead, so your child's session is not cut short by the drive.
A session in the neighborhoods around downtown
Homes near the Riverside area, Victoria Park, and the streets east of Federal Highway tend to be close together, so sessions there are planned with an eye on parking and on quiet hours for apartment buildings and townhomes. A therapist working in this part of the city often starts indoors with tabletop activities before moving to a balcony, courtyard, or nearby pocket park once your child has warmed up.
Farther west, toward Lauderhill and Lauderdale Lakes, lots tend to be bigger and the pace slower, which often gives a therapist more room to work on independent play or household routines like setting the table or putting away toys without interruption from neighbors.
Families along the barrier island, in neighborhoods like Harbor Beach and the Las Olas isles, sometimes schedule sessions around boat traffic and bridge openings, since a drawbridge delay can shift an arrival time by several minutes, and we build a buffer into those appointments rather than rushing the visit once the therapist arrives.
School-based support through Broward County Public Schools
Children across Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Plantation, and Sunrise attend schools within Broward County Public Schools, and when a campus agrees to coordinate with our team, the therapist's role is narrow and specific: supporting one or two goals during a window of the day where they tend to show up, such as morning arrival or a transition to specials like art or PE.
Because Fort Lauderdale covers such a wide stretch of Broward, from the beach to Sunrise, requests to coordinate with a school are handled case by case, and we are upfront with families about how long that conversation with the school may take before anything is scheduled.
Moving through traffic on I-95, US-1, and Broward Boulevard
Fort Lauderdale's layout means a therapist might start a morning near the beach on A1A, cross US-1, and finish the day out near Sunrise close to Sawgrass Mills, all in the same service area. We keep routes realistic by clustering families along one corridor on the same day rather than zig-zagging across the whole county.

We bill Florida Medicaid plans including Humana and Simply. If you do not see your plan, call us and we will check your benefits with you. Our Medicaid & ABA guide explains how coverage works. See all accepted plans on our insurance page, or read about our work across Broward County.
Questions Broward parents ask
Which Broward cities do you serve?
We serve Fort Lauderdale and many surrounding cities, including Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Davie, Coral Springs, and Pompano Beach. If your town is not listed, call and ask.
Can the therapist come to my child's school?
When the school agrees and coordinates it, yes. Otherwise sessions happen at home or in the community.
Does Florida Medicaid cover ABA in Broward County?
Florida Medicaid covers ABA for children under 21 when medically necessary, after an evaluation and prior authorization, in every county. Our Florida Medicaid and ABA guide explains it.
Where is your office?
Our office is at 524 Front Street, Office 1, Key West. In Broward we work as a mobile practice.
We live near the beach on A1A. Is that too far out of the way?
No. Beachside addresses in Fort Lauderdale are part of our regular coverage, we just plan the visit time around beach traffic on A1A and US-1.
Can a therapist work on skills during a trip to a park along the New River?
Yes, community sessions can include a local park or a walk along the river when that fits your child's goals and is safe for the activity being practiced.
How does coordinating with a Fort Lauderdale public school actually start?
It starts with your consent, then we reach out to the school to ask if they are open to coordinating; the school decides what access looks like, and we work within whatever they agree to.
Do bridge openings ever make a therapist late?
Occasionally, yes, and when that happens we call ahead rather than leave you wondering, and we still aim to give your child a full visit.
Does living near the beach or downtown in Fort Lauderdale make scheduling harder?
It can affect timing, especially with bridge openings on Las Olas and Sunrise and event traffic downtown. We take that into account when building the weekly schedule, and we let you know ahead of time if a visit has to shift instead of arriving late without warning.
