One county, no clinic waiting room
Miami-Dade is not one place, and a single office in one corner of it never worked for families in the other corners. We run this as a travelling practice instead: therapists go north into Hialeah, Miami Lakes and Miami Springs, west into Doral, Westchester and Kendall, through the central neighborhoods, and south to Cutler Bay, Homestead and Florida City. The same service area continues down US-1 into the Florida Keys.
Because the county is that spread out, we schedule by geography. Families who live near each other tend to share a therapist and a route, which is what makes steady weekly hours possible instead of a schedule that collapses the first time somebody hits traffic on the Palmetto.
Where the sessions happen
Most of the work happens in the home, because that is where the routines are: meals, homework, getting dressed, transitions, bedtime. Some of it happens in the community, at the store or the park or a relative's house, because a skill that only exists in one room is not really a skill yet.
Parent and caregiver training is part of every case, not an add-on. Whoever spends the most hours with your child gets shown what to do, in their own language, so progress does not pause between visits.

Does Medicaid cover ABA therapy in Miami-Dade?
Yes. Florida Medicaid covers ABA therapy for children under 21 when it is medically necessary, and we are an approved Florida Medicaid provider serving Miami-Dade County. Do you come to our home in Miami-Dade?
Yes. We are an in-home and community practice across the county, so a therapist travels to you rather than the other way around. Sessions can also take place at your child's school when the school coordinates it, or in public settings where a specific skill keeps breaking down.
Is there a Spanish-speaking therapist available in Miami-Dade?
Yes. Every clinician on this team works in both English and Spanish, which is the whole point of how the practice was built. You are not put on a separate list or matched later: the first call, the assessment, the sessions, and parent training can all be in Spanish from the start.
Do I need a diagnosis or a referral before we start?
A diagnosis is needed before ABA services can be authorized. Whether a referral is required depends on your plan, and that is one of the first things we check for you. If nothing is in place yet, call anyway and we will map out what has to happen and in what order.
How soon can we start in Miami-Dade?
