Hollywood, Hallandale & Dania Beach
Bilingual ABA Therapy in Hollywood, FL
Hollywood sits right on the Miami-Dade line, and many families here split their lives between both counties for work, school, and relatives. We follow your child, not the county line, with therapists who come to your home or school and speak English and Spanish.
South Broward areas we visit
We serve homes from the beach and the Intracoastal west to US-441, between the county line and Dania Beach.
- Hollywood (33019, 33020, 33021, 33023, 33024)
- Hallandale Beach
- Dania Beach and West Park
- Neighborhoods near Hollywood Boulevard and Sheridan Street
One plan across two counties
If your child's school is in Broward but grandma's house is in Miami-Dade, we can talk through where sessions make the most sense. The goal is one consistent plan, wherever your child spends the afternoon.
Practice at the beach and the boardwalk
Busy, noisy places are where many children struggle most. With your okay, community sessions can include short, planned trips to places like the Broadwalk or a local park to practice staying calm and safe.
Neighborhoods across Hollywood we visit
We hold sessions in the Hollywood Hills and Emerald Hills areas west of US-1, in the older Liberia and Washington Park neighborhoods, and in the homes closer to Young Circle and downtown Hollywood. Families along Federal Highway and those further inland near Taft Street both get the same scheduling attention.
Dania Beach and West Park round out the southern edge of our Hollywood route, and we often schedule those visits back to back with Hollywood families on the same afternoon to keep drive time reasonable.
In-home sessions near the beach and inland
A session near the beach side of Hollywood might work on waiting in line or tolerating noise at a busy intersection, since those are real parts of daily life there. Further west, where yards are bigger and streets are quieter, the same goals get practiced outdoors, with more room to move.
Because Hollywood sits right at the Miami-Dade and Broward line, some families split time between a Hollywood home and a relative's house south of the county line during the week. We ask about that pattern up front so the visit schedule actually matches where your child will be.
School sessions with Broward County Public Schools
When a Broward County Public Schools campus agrees to coordinate, a therapist can support your child during parts of the school day, such as arrival, a transition between classes, or a group lesson that tends to be hard.
We treat travel between Hollywood schools as part of normal planning, not an obstacle, and we confirm arrival times with the front office ahead of a first school visit so the day is not disrupted.
Getting around on Federal Highway and I-95
Federal Highway through Hollywood slows down near the downtown core and again closer to the Hallandale Beach line, so visits in those stretches get a wider arrival window than a quiet residential street further west. We would rather be upfront about that than promise a precise time we cannot keep.
I-95 and the Turnpike both cut through the western part of our Hollywood route, and a therapist coming from a Hallandale Beach visit can usually reach a Hollywood Hills home within the same afternoon window, which helps us keep weekly sessions on a predictable day.
Florida Medicaid and insurance
We bill Florida Medicaid plans including Humana and Simply. If you do not see your plan, call us and we will check your benefits with you. Our Medicaid & ABA guide explains how coverage works. See all accepted plans on our insurance page, or read about our work across Broward County.
Questions Hollywood parents ask
Do you serve Broward County?
Yes. We are a mobile practice and serve families in Hollywood and other Broward towns, as well as Miami-Dade and the Florida Keys.
Our week is split between Broward and Miami-Dade. Can you work with that?
Often, yes. Tell us where your child spends time and we will plan session locations with you.
Is ABA covered by Florida Medicaid in Broward?
Florida Medicaid is statewide. It covers ABA for children under 21 when medically necessary, after an evaluation and prior authorization. Our Florida Medicaid and ABA guide explains each step.
Do you take private insurance?
We work with several plans. Call us and we will check your benefits with you by phone.
Do you cover Hollywood Hills and Emerald Hills?
Yes, along with Liberia, Washington Park, and the neighborhoods near Young Circle. We also cover Dania Beach and West Park on the southern edge of our route.
My child spends part of the week at a relative's house across the county line. Can sessions follow that schedule?
Often, yes. Tell us the pattern and we will plan visit locations and days around where your child actually spends time.
Can a therapist work with my child at a Broward County Public Schools campus?
When the school agrees to coordinate, yes. We confirm arrival details with the office ahead of time and focus on parts of the day that are hardest for your child.
Why does my arrival window feel wide?
Federal Highway and I-95 traffic vary a lot near Hollywood, so we give an honest window rather than an exact minute, and we call if we expect to be later than planned.
